Sparklight is offering pay-as-you-go internet that lets you skip credit checks, deposits, and recurring billing.
Every plan comes with unlimited data, and you get four speed options. Professional installation and Wi-Fi equipment are included, while supplies last.
The plans first showed up on Oct. 1, 2024, in the Google Play store. Then, they were announced during an investor call on Nov. 7, 2024, and arrived later as purchase options for shoppers on Sparklight.com.
The plans are tailored for customers who seek flexibility, so they have no long-term commitments, contracts, or extra fees, said Julie Laulis, Chief Executive Officer of Cable One (which owns Sparklight). She added that the plans are part of a pilot program and told investors to expect changes based on early results.
The offering is available in the following states:
The upfront fee for 30 days of Sparklight’s Pay-As-You-Go plans starts at $35. Autopay isn’t required, but you can set it up if you don’t want to worry about signing up again every month.
