Technxt ONT Login First Time
Login Technxt FTTH ONT or Fiber ONU Modem using wired or wireless for the first time required. Technxt ONT is powered by VSOL brands so the login method of Technxt Fiber ONT Modem is the same as login a VSOL FTTH ONT. Technxt fiber ONU and ONT modem compatible with Syrotech OLT, DBC, VSOL FTTH ONT as well as other third-party fiber OLT providers.
The login guide for Technxt dual band ONT, Single band ONT, as well as Technxt XPON ONT without WIFI, is the same so if you have any model number Fiber ONt you can follow this article. There are two ways to configure Texhnxt Fiber ONT modem using direct web interface login and using remote configuration through OLT EMS that is managed and configured by OLT device.
To first time login and setup the Technxt Fiber ONT device you need the default login IP address along with the Technxt default username and password that is usually printed on the ONT bottom side sticker as well as a quick user manual that comes with the box. Technxt Fiber ONT/ONU Router Modem Default Login Settings
The default Login username and password for Texchnxt fiber GPON Xpon or EPON ONT modem is printed to the ONT sticker along with the login IP address and default WiFi SSID and password. Technxt ONT device comes with different model numbers from different manufacturers so login IP address, username, and password can be different for each model that is not from same brand. All the default login credentials work with a different single-band, dual-band XPON, EPON, and GPON ONT device so find your login details printed on the sticker. Follow next steps to connect and login the TechNXT ONT device.
Login TechNEXT ONT Device from Web Browser
To access the TechNxt ONT device you need to connect either using Wireless or wired from an Ethernet port depending on your ONT model number.
- Connect your Technxt ONT device to the DC power Adapter to turn it ON.
- Fiber Cable coming from the ISP side will connected to the PON port available on ONT.
- If your ONT device supports only Ethernet without WLAN then use a LAN cable from the ONT LAN port to the Desktop/Laptop LAN port.
- For Single band and dual band XPON, GPON or EPON ONT can use LAN as well as WiFI connection to login ONT.
- Find the default WiFI SSID and Security Key printed on the Sticker.
- Open the web browser and access http://192.168.1.1 or 192.168.100.1 as per your ONT default login IP address.
- Provide the default login username and password for your TechNext ONT device printed to a sticker or if you already changed the default login password use the same.
- Once you log in to the ONT control panel and can access the Internet, Wireless, and other system settings then get WAN settings from your ISP.
TechNxt ONT WAN Internet Settings
The first thing is to configure the WAN port as per your internet type. Get your internet-type details from your service provider.
Configure Internet WAN On bridge mode and router mode using PPPoE or Static IP address along with VLAN ID if it’s using multiple services that you can get from your service provider.
Go to Network- WAN
Choose your WAN type – Bridge or Router
Select your internet type and provide WAN settings details as get from your Internet providers.
After the WAN connection, the next step is to change the Wireless default Settings.
Change Wireless SSID and Password
Default SSID and WiFi security key are available on the user manual as well as the device sticker so it is important to change the default wifi name and password first.
Go to the Wireless tab from the settings menu.
Wireless- Basic settings
If ONT supports Dual Band Wireless then you will find 2G and 5G network options to change both wireless band Wifi settings.
If your ONT supports a single band then only 2.4Ghz wireless settings and ONT without WLAN will not show any wireless settings option.
Wireless Radio- Enable
Wireless SSID- Change WIFI SSID Network name here
Wireless channel-Auto
Channel Bandwidth– Auto
Wireless Security– WPA_WPA2_PSK_AES
Passphrase- create a WIFI password here for your network.
Apply settings and you will be disconnected from the wifi network if connect to the old wifi name and password.
Connect again with the new SSID and password and access ONT again.
For dual-band ONT devices change 5Ghz wireless SSID and password also so both WIFI networks can be protected.
TechNxt ONT Admin Password Change
Also, do not forget to update the login password for your ONT/ONU device to protect the web interface from users connected to the internet using wireless or wired.
Go to Maintenance
Under maintenance go to the Administration option
Change Password
You will get a user for a normal user and an admin for an admin right user.
Change your Password and confirm your new password and your ONT device is now secured.
